CARBON FIBER - HIGH TECH FOR YOUR WRIST

Carbon fiber reinforced pOLYMER (CFRP), also known as carbon fiber or carbon, is a high-tech material that is used in motor sports and aerospace, among other applications.

Compared to other materials with the same load capacity, carbon fiber is lighter, which is a decisive advantage in motor sports. With a carbon fiber dial, you wear a piece of high-tech on your wrist, which is otherwise only used in super sports cars or high-end sports equipment.

CERAMIC - SCRATCH-RESISTANT & ROBUST

Ceramic is much less susceptible to scratches than aluminum. It is also heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant and has a very fine feel. However, the production and processing of ceramic bezels is more complex. Therefore, ceramic inlays are only used in high-quality watches.

DIAMONDS - THAT CERTAIN SOMETHING

The diamonds on the dial are around 1mm in diameter and weigh around 0,005 carat per stone. The diamonds feature a "simplified brilliant cut". It's called "simplified brilliant cut" because a round cut diamond (round brilliant) usually has at least 56 facets. Round cut diamonds with a "simplified brilliant cut" have 8 facets on the top and 8 facets on the lower part as well as a table, so a total of 17 facets. Due to their small size they are ideal to be put on a watch dial.

Diamonds with a "simplified brilliant cut" in the size range up to a maximum of 0,02 carats achieve a higher brilliance than round brilliants. This is due to the fact that larger facets have an optimal effect in that size range.

THE CASE BACK

The uncompromising attention to detail is perfectly expressed in the case back. The interplay of satin and polished finishes underscores the versatility of Majesté. The personal serial number is engraved on the rim.

THE FINISHING

Nothing is left to chance in the production and finishing of LOUIS XVI watches. The edges on the case and bracelet are polished by hand. Particular attention is paid to uniform, perfect lines.
